About Dan

My Story

Dan Feasey is an Ex Royal Engineer who served with 59 Commando Squadron. During his time in the forces he deployed to Afghanistan where he was heavily relied upon to maintain and fix equipment. Also during his time with 59 Commando Squadron he embarked on the Artic Training in Norway. With these deployments, Dan knows how to be pushed in extreme conditions and what the human body can actually achieve. The manner in which Dan gets his clients to achieve their goals are second to none.

With such a varied back ground Dan knows how to get the best out of his clients.

After serving for his country, Dan then studied a Foundation Degree in Strength Conditioning and Sports Coaching. Nutrition and Injury Management is where Dan excelled. This led to a job in the NHS as a Physiotherapy Technician. This role saw Dan taking Rehab classes and also getting involved with the Hydrotherapy sessions too. During this role it became apparent to Dan that he wanted to study some form of Rehabilitation.

During Dans final year of study he was asked to present his research on Occlusion training and its effect on range of motion. This also led the abstract to be published. While all this has been happening Dan has become a vital member of the team in a local gym as the fitness instructor and Personal Trainer. Dan’s classes have become increasingly popular. His hard work in preparation is evident in each of the classes. Dan classes include:- Boot camp, circuits and Insanity, however, these are not limited as Dan has covered classes such as; body pump, kettle bells and spinning. All of which have improved his method of coaching and exercises. Dan is a member of the Sports Therapy Organisation and this ensures his clients that Dan is fully qualified, and, more importantly, in date with current literature and has to keep is CPD updated through out the year. This also ensures that Dan is fully insured for any eventuality.

More recently:- Dan has lead Torquay United Football Club medical department in the season (18/19) which seen Torquay win the Conference South and gain promotion back to the National League. Dan then moved on to Exeter City Football Club and was part of the medical team that seen Exeter get to the Play-off finals, unfortunately we well fell short that season (19/20). How ever, Exeter did gain Promotion to League One in 21/22 where Dan started the season but left to embark on his MSc in Physiotherapy.

Having a passion for learning and bettering his services, Dan is now half way through his MSc Pre registration Physiotherapy degree. The depth of knowledge has increased in many ways. A differing approach to differing clients/ patients, A wider variety of experiences to now be able to put into practice, and a higher level of education to further depth in previous areas, for example strength and conditioning.
